1. Scope and payment provider

This policy forms part of the QA Vault Terms of Service. Cancellation stops subscription renewal; a refund concerns a payment already made. They are separate actions.

For purchases through Paddle, Paddle is the merchant of record. The Paddle Buyer Terms and Paddle Refund Policy also apply.

2. Cancelling a subscription

The workspace owner can request cancellation through subscription management. The payer can also use the management link in the Paddle transaction email or contact Paddle buyer support. Contact team@qa-vault.com if you need help, including after losing access to a workspace.

Ordinary cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and prevents its next renewal. Paid access remains available for the rest of that period, subject to the Terms. Cancellation does not create a refund for unused time.

3. Refunds and statutory rights

QA Vault does not provide an additional voluntary money-back guarantee. Payments are non-refundable except where applicable law or the applicable Paddle terms and refund policy provide otherwise. Paddle retains its discretion to issue a refund under its policy.

Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights, including applicable withdrawal rights or remedies for a service that is faulty or does not match its description. A free trial does not remove those rights. Rules can differ for initial purchases, trial conversion and renewals; the applicable statutory and Paddle rules govern each transaction.

4. Making a request

Use the support link in your receipt or visit Paddle buyer support to request a refund. For product problems, contact team@qa-vault.com. Include the purchase email, transaction reference and a short explanation. Do not send passwords, API keys or full payment-card details.

Paddle administers approved refunds under its applicable terms. Processing and bank posting times depend on the transaction and payment method. Contacting support does not restrict your lawful right to raise a dispute.

5. Trials and seat changes

The one-month trial does not require a payment card. A paid subscription requires a separate authorised checkout. Without that authorisation, trial expiry does not create a charge.

Seat changes identify the additional charge or effective date before confirmation. Removing a workspace member or reducing paid capacity does not itself entitle the customer to a refund of a previous payment. Applicable legal and Paddle exceptions remain in force.

6. Access and stored content

At the end of trial or paid access, hosted MCP and semantic search are unavailable. Ordinary keyword search and the included classical web features remain available under the workspace's permissions. Automatic processing to keep workspace content searchable continues on the free plan.

A refund can end the paid access associated with the refunded purchase. Payment disputes and security restrictions are handled under the applicable Terms. Expiry, cancellation and refunds do not by themselves instruct QA Vault to delete workspace content; retention and deletion are covered by the Privacy Policy.
